Ambiguous press statement reads "all good things must come to an end."

Riding High UK changing distribution model?

Riding High UK has this morning issued a statement revealing its plan to ‘change its distribution model’. The below statement also hints that the firm will briefly be closing its doors.

Edit: It has now been confirmed to BikeBiz that the firm will not be closing down, though not much more can be said other than "we’re changing business model" at this time.

From Riding High UK:

"Firstly, we have had a huge amount of fun over the last five years working with leading brands such as Spank, Knolly and Gravity Dropper and we wish them every success in their future.

Riding High has taken the opportunity to work with some fantastic riders and race organisers throughout Britain and we will always stay rooted in the scene, we promise.

As they say all good things must come to an end, but also every end is a new beginning. We are very excited about our future plans within the bicycle trade and although we cannot confirm details at this stage, we are fully confident that it will benefit enthusiast cyclists and retailers alike.

Back soon folks…"
