Saddleback has today announced it has taken on the exclusive distribution of Rotor Bike Components.

Starting from January 1st, the deal comes as Rotor expands its business into territories beyond its much sought after Q-ring oval chainrings and cranksets.

“We have been long-time admirers of the Rotor brand and have watched it grow globally with great interest,” said Andy Wigmore, Saddleback managing director. “With their strong focus on truly innovative performance products as well as recognising the need to validate this at the highest levels of professional cycling, they are a perfect partner for Saddleback.

“We have great respect for the job that Velotech have done promoting the Rotor brand here in the UK and are honoured to be taking over at this very exciting time in the brand’s development.”

With a reputation founded on its flagship Q-Rings, oval chainrings with subtle but efficient ovality that can be orientated around riders’ distinct pedalling characteristics. The label's catalogue now also offers power meters and bottom brackets, as well as the Uno hydraulic line - the first complete hydraulic groupset.

Rotor’s move to Saddleback comes soon after Sidi joined and continues what Saddleback describes as a "wave of growth that’s set to continue as further positive brand discussions come to fruition in early 2016."
