Santini is sponsoring a two-event Sportive Series in 2011, distributor Fisher Outdoor Leisure has revealed.

Set to be widely publicised in the lead up to the summer, the series, organised by Votwo Events, will take place either side of the Tour de France and are pitched at riders of all abilities.

Both will offer 100, 50 and 25-mile distances through picturesque English countryside, and no time pressures or racing required. The firstwill take place in the grounds of the National Trust property at Kingston Lacy, Dorset on July 3rd. The second takes place on July 31st, starting at Castle Combe race circuit in Wiltshire.

"Santini is synonymous with all that is great in cycling," commented Fisher Outdoor Leisure's head of marketing Julie Dommett: "From club riders to World Champions, it’s a name strongly associated with our sport. By sponsoring this sportive series, Santini are once again demonstrating their support and, by doing so, further strengthening their brand awareness here in the UK which in turn will greatly benefit Santini retailers.”

The events will feature electronic timing, feed stations, easy access and car parking facilities, with tech support from the SRAM Technical Centre. A special Santini commemorative jersey will be available to purchase prior to the event.
