Scottish Bike Show adds consumer day for 2012 show

The Scottish Bike Show is to carry and additional consumer day, with the show set to span April 13th through 15th next year.

The inaugural show saw over 5,100 visitors come through the doors and raised over £3,000 for The Prostate Cancer Charity. Already confirmed as key sponsors for the March show are Alpine Bikes, Sustrans, Cycling Scotland and Singletrack.

The latest fantastic addition to the growing number of partners comes in the form of Future Publishing. Rowan Mackie, founder of Magdala Media, said: "We are delighted to confirm Future as our media partner for 2012 – their leading magazine and online portfolio of cycling titles will certainly contribute to the success of 2012."

New for 2012 is "The Scottish Bike Show Sportive" taking place on Sunday 15th April. The route is still in production, however it will take place in around the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond consisting of two rides, "challenge" and "sportive" ride.

Mackie added: "TSBS Sportive will hopefully mark the start of the sportive calendar in Scotland and all entries will also allow provide riders with a one day ticket of their choice to TSBS."

Magdala Media are projecting a footfall of 10 to 12,000 for next year, promising more news as the promotional campaign develops.
