Governing body latest partner for new cycle event

Scottish Cycling signs up to Scottish Bike Show

Scottish Cycling has become official cycling partner for the Scottish Bike Show, the new consumer bike show for the country.

Scottish Cycling, the governing body for cycle sport in Scotland, will support the event, taking place at the SECC, Glasgow from April 16th to 17th 2011.

“Confirming the governing body for cycle sport in Scotland as our official cycling partner is a great landmark for us," enthused Scottish Bike Show founder Rowan Mackie. “The partnership with Scottish Cycling will further push the event as a date in the cycling calendar not to be missed, as well as generate even more awareness for the continued development of cycling in Scotland.”

Jackie Davidson, chief executive of Scottish Cycling, said: “We are delighted to be the official cycling partner for The Scottish Bike Show next year. It has the promise of being a great event to showcase cycling to a wider audience and promote this ever-growing activity and sport to even more people.”
