US hand-made brand to branch into more stores with Cyclevox assistance

Seven Cycles appoints Cyclevox to drum up UK business

US hand-made custom bicycle maker Seven Cycles has recruited the services of Cyclevox to develop its UK presence.

The firm, who has been in the UK exclusively with Sigma Sport for 12 years, is now looking to extend its dealer network. Cyclevox will handle the brand’s marketing and will aid the firm in recruiting new retail partners.

Cyclevox has shown its commitment to the deal with the appointment of former British mountain bike champion Jenny Copnall who will take control of communications with the media.

Initially, Seven will seek a small number of ‘exceptional dealers’ who share their vision of catering to an individual’s needs, and who are passionate about the enduring values of handcraftsmanship and made to order products.

In the US, Seven has established highly successful dealer relationships and it aims to mimic this in the UK. While stores specialising in custom bike fitting may be particularly suited to the brand, it is expected that the dealer network will comprise a mix of store types.

“Seven has designed and built more the 25,000 custom framesets, sold around the world. In order to do this successfully we’ve refined our design, rider fit, and customization process—from order to delivery—to be a remarkably simple and seamless experience for the retailer and rider”, states Seven CEO Rob Vandermark.

“Seven only sells bicycles through its retailer network; therefore, every aspect of the customer experience is quality controlled and assured. Our UK expansion means that retailers interested in enhancing riders’ performance and enjoyment — through perfectly tailored bikes — now have an opportunity to do so."
