Holiday resort gets into the Bike Week-spirit for 2012

Sherwood Hideaway gives away free bike hire during Bike Week

Holiday resort Sherwood Hideaway is getting behind Samsung-sponsored Bike Week by offering free bike hire to guests.

Those staying during Bike Week (June 16th-24th 2012) will be able to take up the offer of complimentary bike hire, subject to availability.

The Sherwood Hideaway, a collection of 14 luxurious cedar lodges deep in Sherwood Forest, is surrounded by miles of off-road and way-market trails, accessible from the lodges via short rides through the woods on a private trail, with links to the Ancient Sherwood Route and Clumber Park.

Cycle hire usually costs £5 for two hours, £10 per day or £20 for the entire stay. Guests can still bring their own bikes during the week and throughout the year, with secure parking points are provided at each lodge.

Samsung was recently revealed as the new headline sponsor of Bike Week.
