New York BMX brand to produce frames, forks and bars

Skavenger to branch into hard goods

Skavenger, owned by Pro BMX riders Vinnie Sammon and Edwin De La Rosa, is to produce hard goods, according to ESPN.

In an interview with Brian Tunney, Sammon has revealed the firm has been working with several manufacturers in the past years, though has only just settled on a partner who will produce frames, forks and bars.

Ralph Sinisi, owner of Animal Bikes (or A Bike Co as it’s known in the UK) is also a partner in the new business.

When asked exactly what will feature in the company’s catalogue, Sammon said: "Off the bat, frame, fork and bars for hard goods. We’re just gonna take it from there. But we’re definitely looking to expand into a bigger line."

4Down Distribution already handles the firm’s soft goods line in the UK.
