Peak Development has just taken stock of Sony’s smallest ever action camera, the HDR-AZ1, which is now available to stores to order.
Tipping the scales at just 63g, the HDR-AZ1 is two-thirds of the size of other Sony Action Cam models, but sacrifices no performance or features, offering Full HD video, crisp stereo sound and the ability to capture high bit-rate recording at 50mbps.
Supplied with a waterproof case, the £279 unit is capable up to 5 metres under water and should easily shrug off any bumps taken on the trail.
The HDR-AZ1VR also comes with the brand-new RM-LVR2V Live-View Remote, which allows the user to start and stop recording via a wrist mounted control and screen that lets you line up the shot before setting off. The remote will allow the user to control up to five cameras independently for those looking to capture multiple angles.
