Sports coathanger takes to Kickstarter

Designer Tim Hoyle has taken to Kickstarter to promote his Kitnetik, a magnetic coathanger with pop-out shoe storage. Twenty backers have pledged cash so far – Hoyle needs to hit £8,000 for the project to progress.

The Kitnetik attaches and detaches from radiators using powerful magnets. It can be used to dry kit, including shoes, and could also be used as a regular storoage device whrn the sports kit is dry. The aluminium construction conducts heat inside shoes and gloves to help dry them out more quickly.

Save time and stay organised with this simple but effective product," said Hoyle. "This product is designed to make your life just that little bit easier. Saving just a little more precious time, getting you out of the door earlier, so you can spend it running or cycling.

Hoyle is a cyclist but he works in motorsport designing automotive testing applications.
