Kickstarter project nearing its goal with just a week remaining

Stique claims to be the ”swiss army knife” of multitools

A multitool dubbed by early users as the "Swiss Army Knife" of bike tools is nearing its Kickstarter goal with just under a week remaining.

Made up of three tyre lever shaped blocks, each held together with magnets, the Stique houses everything from the necessary Allen keys, spoke and Torx wrenches, to things like a bottle opener, thermometer and even space to hold replacement coin cell batteries and puncture repair patches.

With prototypes warmly welcomed by select distribution and retailers within the industry, the firm has now outlined a budget to take the project forward, requiring £57,000 of investment to create final moulds and cover the costs of assembly and packaging. A patent has already been taken out on the design.

This may not be the only product launched by the designers into the cycle market, with the Kickstarter hinting at a further seven product ideas in the R&D pipeline.
