Columbian clothing label Suarez is to turn to the UK as part of its expansion plans, with ex-Raleigh man Paul Wignell in charge of sales here.

Started in 1996 by former Columbian pro cyclist Carlos Suarez, the apparel label commands a significant market share in South America, sponsoring the GW-Shimano, Chaoyang, epm-une, Orgullo Paisa and Colombia es Pasion - Cafe de Colombia and the Columbian National Teams of Cycling.

With in-house design and production, quality control is said to be tight and the firm also boasts of its environmantally friendly credentials, having been recognised with GAP Certification, which validates the firm's clean manufacturing processes.

Wignell told BikeBiz: "We're looking for interested UK dealers now to stock this exclusive mid-to-high-end label. All products are priced competitively and are of the highest quality around. Dealers should contact me on 07545593413, or suarezcycling@gmail.com for more information."
