TAITRA paid for Tesco’s international sourcing executive Lee Luk Sin to attend Giftionery Taipei, held from April 23-26 at the Taipei World Trade Center.
During his stay on the island, Lee met with around 100 local manufacturers interested in doing businesses with Tesco, said a statement from the China Economic News Service (CENS).
"In addition to Tesco, TAITRA is planning to invite more leading international chain store enterprises to make buying trips to Taiwan, and among them will be Marks & Spencer and Halfords of the U.K., [and] Rei-Novara Bicycle of the United States," said CENS.
