Tour de France podcasts dominate iTunes rankings
Publish date:

Tour de France podcasts are proving popular on iTunes in both the US and Europe.

In the UK, the ITV Tour de France video podcast is currently number one in the sports category and number five in the rankings of podcasts in all categories. Future's BikeRadar's audio podcast is in at number three in the sports category.

At number six there's the Transport for London audio podcast.

The best performing football podcast – knocked off its perch by ITV's TdF vodcast – is BBC's Football Focus podcast. Another popular podcast shoved backwards by the Tour de France offerings is The Guardian's Formula One Show, now lanquishing at number ten in the sports category.

Tour de France podcasts aren't quite this dominant in the US, with podcasts still ruling the roost. There are no TdF podcasts in the top twenty list of all podcasts but the ITV podcast is in at number two in the sports category on the US iTunes. (And, yes, the ITV graphic is still the 2006 version...)'s TdF podcast is at number eleven in the same category on US iTunes, closely followed by the Bikeradar podcast, in at number 15.
