Bob Chicken Senior re-discovers the joys of cycling after a nine year gap...and guess which tyres he fitted to his cob-web covered bike?!
Publish date:

Youre never too old to get back into cycling and, at 78, Bob Chicken Senior was no slouch at covering the 23 miles of one of the rides on the recent Pedal Club weekend meet.

Before this Saturday jaunt Bob hadnt been on a bike for the best part of a decade.

I fitted a pair of Vredestein Spiders to my old faithful Dawes bike and it went like a bomb, Bob told BikeBiz. I had a slightly sore bum by the end of it but other than that I felt fine. Im thinking of cycling on the Pedal Clubs outing to France next year. Normally I take the car.

They will be no shortage of tyres to fit to suit the riding conditions: Bob is Vredesteins UK voicepiece!
