Earlier this year Time Inc publications Cycling Weekly and Mountain Bike Rider announced the launch of a new campaign to discover what the public believed to be the best bike shops in the country.
After a lengthy nominations process, in which over 21,000 people submitted their top picks of over 1000 shops, winners have been picked for both titles.
Cycling Weekly readers chose Leslie Bike Shop in Fife in the second place position, whilst the Edumburgh Bike Co-op took the number one spot. For MBR, The Rider’s Guild in Chichester took the second place, whilst The Trail Head Bicycle Company in Shrewsbury took the number one position.
Other top picks chosen by readers included Peddlers Cycles, Stif Cycles, Alf Jones, 2 Wheels Only, Soho Bikes and One Planet Adventure.
