Shimano-equipped riders won 16 of the 21 stages at this year’s Tour de France. And, of course, overall victor Lance Armstrong rides Shimano.
The King of the Mountains was also Shimano equipped. Laurent Jalabert (Team CSC-Tiscali). rode with SPD-R pedals and carbon fibre Dura-Ace wheels.
Team Kelme was the best overall team on Le Tour and was fully Shimano equipped.
