Two Wheel Trading take on bombproof US components brand

Atomlab of California produces super tough BMX and MTB components such as pedals, rims, hubs and stems. It’s a rider owned company with a wicked line in corporate identity
Publish date:

Atomlab used to be imported by Town and Country Cycles (the Atomlab website still lists Vince Cundle's details and not Two Wheel Trading’s) and majors on BMX and jump bike components built to withstand severe punishment.

The company logo is a sexy female devil.

Atomlab – short for Atomic Laboratories – was created in 1997 by 1980s BMX pro Mike Flaherty and his wife Lisa, a former chemist for the Los Angeles police department’s crime lab.

The micro company makes parts that are “as tough as hell” claims the website.

Parts that “work on hardcore bikes and are built to survive months of big hits at the trails and on the track, not just 40 seconds of racing,” said Mike Flaherty.
