Velo Vision's Peter Eland has inked a deal to produce the quarterly magazine for the Human Powered Vehicle Association of America. Editorial and design will be produced in York but the magazine will be printed and mailed from San Luis Obispo, California.

The Human Powered Vehicle Association is the HPV association for North America, but also an ‘umbrella’ organisation for any HPV enthusiasts without a national HPV club in their own country.

The magazine – at 16 pages an issue, depending on advertising take-up – will not be a door-stopper.

"We’re rather looking forward to this new challenge, and though the schedule is still being finalised, we hope to produce our first issue around mid-May," said Eland.

‘HPV News’ will include event reports, member activities, and feature articles.

The HPVA’s Jean Anderson said:

"We are very much looking forward to sending HPVA members a regular and well-produced newsletter, and we are confident that Velo Vision will do a fine job."
