Velobrands – the distributor of Kask, Chapeua!, Juice Lubes and Pacenti – has grown its sales team in preparation for a strong year.
John McVey has moved into the roles of Velobrand’ sales director. McVey is taking over the position previously held by Luke Humphreys who has now left the business to pursue other interests.
Luke co-founded Velobrands in 2011 with Will Miles and worked in both sales and product development throughout his time with the business.
McVey will take charge of VeloBrands’ sales strategy, will manage the regional sales team and internal sales staff and will continue to maintain healthy relationships with the business’ key accounts.
New to the team is Ed Trotman, who joins VeloBrands as internal sales manager. Trotman previously managed the Rapha Archive Store and has years of experience in bicycle retail though Avon Valley Cyclery and Strada Cycles. He will drive sales and ensure that dealers are well supported.
Co-founder Will Miles commented: “We have a huge year of growth ahead with some genuinely innovative things to show our dealers, both in terms of our products and our approach to sales and distribution.
“We want to be the best distributor that we can be and we need great staff to make that happen. John and Ed both have strong careers in the industry, they know their stuff and they have great relationships with our customers; I’m excited to work with them.”
