The Bicycle Film Festival visits Liverpool from April 8th to 10th, bringing with it an exhibition of the best of the past year's film-making, spanning cycling in all forms, to an anticipated audience of 300,000.

Having begun in New York City, the festival now tours the globe and will this year visit 30 city destinations across the globe.

Among this year's highlights, visitors wil be able to see Spike Jonze and Johnny Knoxville's 2010 documentary on the life of legendary BMX rider Matt Hoffman - titled The Birth of Big Air.

Valet parking at the festival will be provided by Brompton Bicycle, while live freestyle demos will keep audiences entertained, as will a bike themed 'scavenger hunt'.

Below you'll find the Bicycle Film Festvial trailer, as well as a segment from the Birth of Big Air.

Tickets are now available from the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology box office, contactable on 0871 902 5737.
