VIDEO: Red Bull sails BMX through Miami

Energy drinks giant puts on once in a lifetime floating demo
Publish date:

In yet another example of energy drinks goliath Red Bull throwing money at extreme sports competition, during December the manufacturer hired out a very large ship, built a skate park on the deck and invited professional riders from around the globe to take part in the first floating BMX demo.

An "evening with trials sensation Danny MacAskill" is also to premiere on the manufacturer's website at 7pm this Sunday. The Atherton project is now available showing on Red Bull TV, found here.

Riders participating in the 'BargeSpin' event (first video) included: Kevin Robinson, Anthony Napolitan, Corey Martinez, Edwin De la Rosa, Terry Adams, Daniel Dhers, Craig Mast and Simpel Session winner Drew Bezanson.

Since then, Red Bull's annual Dirt Pipe event has returned down under, the video of which can also be seen below.
