As from April 1st Walkers Cycles is taking on distribution of the RAT brand of scooter parts.
Pitched as making pro level scooter parts at affordable prices, Rat Scooters gear has been designed to be tough and robust to endure the highest level of riding.
All of Rat’s metal core wheels and clamps are made from high grade 6063 aluminium – aircraft grade alloy used in road and rail construction and many extreme sports equipment. Rat’s super rebound polyurethane tyres, unless stated, are 88a – a very stable compound for hard wearing but a excellent grip, the firm says. In addition, all Rat bolts are high tensile steel anti sheer bolts.
All the brand’s items are tried and tested by pro riders.
Walkers told BikeBiz: "The scooter scene is absolute huge, and growing month-on-month. We have agreed distribution of the Rat brand of parts – including wheels, pegs, clamps, etc – following demand from dealers. As far as I’m aware we will be the only cycle P&A distributor offering a solid range of branded scooter parts in the UK."
The full range will be available from the start of next month and can be ordered by calling the Walkers office, from dealer’s area representative, or on Walkers B2B site.
