Readers of the Show issue of BicycleBusiness will have noticed the start of a powerful campaign being put behind the TF2 spray lubricant. Those with sharp eyesight will also have noticed some conflicting elements in the advertisement regarding IBD benefits.
We were supplied with a CD for the advert and a proof. Our printers, in their wisdom, neglected to compare the film output with the proof and the ad came out pretty messed up.
The mystery shopper campaign eligibility depended upon the purchase of TF2 stock and a visible window sticker in order to win the multiple product box of Weldtite products pictured. We apologise for any confusion caused. The competition runs right through the summer of 2000.
We have since changed printers and the ad will be run correctly this time (fingers crossed!) in the April issue, due out next Thurs/Fri.
