Haro and Moore Large part ways, three new brands take its place - BikeBiz
Wethepeople, Radio and Salt will now join the Moore Large portfolio

Moore Large has confirmed that after 24 years of partnership, it will no longer have a relationship with Haro Bikes in the UK and Ireland.

The distributor first signed the Haro brand in 1994 and in that time not only supplied the market with the product, but also supported athletes, events and races in freestyle and race categories.

A Moore Large statement read: “Changes in the Haro organisation have led them to take a different route to market for the MY19 product year and beyond.

“BMX has been and continues to be a big part of Moore Large’s heritage. Many past and present employees have ridden, still ride, or now have the pleasure of seeing their kids ride BMX."

As a direct result of the move, Moore Large has announced the distribution of the Wethepeople, Radio and Salt brands from the company WeMakeThings.

“Our brand portfolio has changed dramatically over the past few years, adding world-class names to our growing portfolio and striving to work with the best brands in each category of cycling,” said brand director Adam Garner.

“Parting ways with Haro Bikes presented us with an opportunity to work with another BMX brand, and what better than the brands from German company WeMakeThings. Harry and his team have some of the most progressive products in the market and their energy, constant development and investment in BMX firs really well with our current business objectives; happy is an understatement,” he concluded.

Moore Large will take delivery of MY19 products from July and will shortly announce dates of its in-house show ‘Geared Summer’.

BMX brand manager Rob Andrew added: “We’ve long admired the work from WeMakeThings, watching them produce leading products in BMX for 20 years or more. It’s clear to see the quality of their design, attention to detail and the progressive nature of their products throughout all of the brands. I’m stoked to be working with them.”
