WFSGI appoints officials to saddles committee

The World Federation of Sporting Goods Industries has created a bicycle saddle committee to provide scientific and health data to the Union Cyclise Internationale. Saddle experts Dave Schindler of ISM and Piet van der Velde of Selle Italia have been elected as chairpersons of the new committee.

Schindler will act as chairman of the committee and take the lead in meetings within the industry. Van der Velde was elected as vice-chairman.

The committee is is made up of seven WFSGI member companies which are active in the manufacturing of bicycle saddles.
