Whackjob seeks crowdfunding to grow

Mountain bike clothing label looking for £150,000 in investment to develop products and help the MTB clothing market surge
Publish date:

Mountain bike clothing label Whackjob has launched a crowd funding drive in order to grow its eco-concious clothing line.

After recently announcing the launch of their all new ‘Flow’ design range of bamboo and organic cotton clothing, owner, Joel Teague, says that the firm has potential for substantial growth.

Teague told BikeBiz: “Since launching the company in 2011, our ethos has always been to create and produce MTB clothing that riders actually want to wear, not clothing that they are told they to want to wear.

“In doing so we have received a lot of input from everyday riders in our designs and product development. Supporting this is our 100 per cent commitment to ethical and eco-awareness in production and supply”

Whackjob plans to use the investment money raised in a number of growth initiatives for both the company and the MTB sector. Such activities will include co-operative marketing opportunities to grow the MTB business as a whole, with other brands who share the company’s vision of a rider-driven, ethically operated and sourced approach to mountain bike products.

There are also a number of new products currently in development and plans to help the MTB clothing sector grow and develop across the board.

The investment opportunity is now live at http://www.crowdcube.com/investment/wj-clothing-limited-13343 and investors can put in anything from £10 to £100,000.
