Demand for the Wiggle Super Series New Forest 100 Sportive has been so great that the organisers have announced an extra road bike sportive to accommodate more riders.

All 1,200 places for the New Forest 100 Sportive, starting from Brockenhurst, Hampshire on Sunday October 2nd, sold out in record time. In response Wiggle has a bonus sportive on the Saturday (October 1st) with all the route options of the original event. All routes, from the 100-mile epic to the 44-mile fun route, weave through the New Forest National Park.

Participants of the Wiggle Super Series benefit from feed stations, disposable chip timing, massages, bike wash facilities and goody bags.

"We were delighted when the New Forest 100 Sportive sold out in record time,” enthused organiser Martin Barden, of UK Cycling Events.

“When more and more road bike riders kept requesting places, adding another event on the Saturday seemed like the perfect solution. We did a similar Saturday sportive in April when our Spring Sportive sold out early and it was very well received."
