Bike Dock Solutions, which has just had a busy summer supplying bike parking solutions for the London 2012 cycling events, is up for a national business award tonight.
The London-based firm is competing against fellow finalists Serenata Flowers, Crodcube, Handpicked Companies and Bunches.co.uk for Small Online Business of the Year at the National Business Awards UK.
Over 150 of Britain's businesses are up for awards, ranging from private, public and 'third sector' companies, with turnovers from less than £50k to multi-billion pound revenues.
David Keene, vice president of marketing at Salesforce is judging the category. He said: "Bike Dock Solutions has created a very interesting means of generating awareness for an atypical product through the use of video and social media - delivering impressive growth and distinctive branding into European markets at the same time."
Bike Dock Solutions director James Nash added: "To be a finalist at the National Business Awards is a privilege and we are all very proud to be recognised for our efforts."

Speaking on the awards, chair of judges Baroness Virginia Bottomley commented: “This year has been a challenging environment for British businesses: these finalists demonstrate how companies are succeeding in the current climate through innovation, originality and tenacity. It’s good to see a broad range of companies both in sector and size – an impressive representation of the potential British businesses have. Congratulations to all our finalists.”
