Tomorrow the chancellor Gordon Brown unveils the Comprehensive Spending Review which will set out the Government's spending plans for the next three years. Hes opening the war chest to curry favours wtih voters well in time for the next election. Education and health are expected to be big winners. What about integrated transport?

Will cycling get cash boost from Gordon?

Billions of pounds will be lavished on new projects tomorrow. Transport is expected to be one of the recipients but there has been much press speculation that motorists far from getting hammered will be encouraged with new road building measures.

However, integrated transport initiatives are also expected to benefit from the chancellors largesse and it will be interesting to see where the cash will go. All eyes on tomorrow then.
