The distributor also confirmed that the latest from WTB – which Hotlines signed in February – has arrived in the UK.
WTB’s 2010 tyre line includes feature-laden trail tyres, with dual compound rubber, puncture protection, UST and TCS – WTB’s Tubeless Compatible System.
WTB Europe CEO Katerina Rejchrtova said: “TCS tyres offer the best of both worlds. These tyres combine the benefits of tubeless with the minimal weight of an XC race tyre.”
The system combines WTB’s lightweight race casing with a certified UST tubeless bead. TCS tyres can be used with inner tubes and adapted to tubless when combines with WTB-approved sealant and rim strips, says the firm.
Highlights from the 2010 WTB range include the redesigned WeirWolf, the product of a five-year collaboration between endurance downhiller Mark Weir and WTB’s chief designer Mark Slate.
