UK residents are now able to place pre orders for the YikeBike – a futuristic-looking carbon fibre electric folding bike.
Weighing in below 10kg, the YikeBike has the ability to accelerate to 12mph with the assistance of a 1.2kW motor and batteries, all of which is hidden within the frame.
The initial production model weighs in at 22lbs and will cost between €3,500 to €3,900. (Price confirmed to customer when production slot is near)
YikeBike’s include anti skid brakes, built in indicators and lights, as well as the very latest in battery technology – a Nano Lithium Phosphate battery, which is chargeable within 30 minutes.
