The company is also now part of the Bike Hub levy scheme.

Zyro joins BAGB

In a letter to Bicycle Association members, BA president Phillip Darnton said:

"On behalf of the Council I am delighted to advise you that Zyro has been welcomed as a new member of the Bicycle Association. Many of you will know Julie and Simon Ellison from your professional contacts and will have met them again at our Annual General Meeting.

"I was particularly thrilled that they felt that the progress which the Bicycle Association has made recently and the exciting plans which we have for the future convinced them to become members. We look forward to their involvement in all our future meetings."

As a contributor to Bike Hub, Zyro is now part of an industry-wide fund that pays for the Bike It! schools project, see link below, and the upkeep of Bikeforall.net.

This portal website was helped into life by a cash contribution from the Department for Transport. Members of the Bike Hub committee met in London recently to agree on a root-and-branch overhaul of the site now that it is wholly industry-owned. The site will be recoded, redesigned and, from December to March 2006, will be publicised with a well-funded marketing campaign.
