Four Zyro customers won the chance to visit BRG Sports HQ (the home of Giro, Bell and Blackburn) in Santa Cruz at the distributor’s product launch back in October.
The five day trip took the retailers, plus some key Zyro staff, to the Giro, Bell and Blackburn HQ in Santa Cruz.
While there they toured the facilities, including the DOME design centre – the product test facility with over 400 years combined design experience under one roof. They also met the staff behind the brands, as well as having the opportunity to ride some amazing mountain bike trails with the Bell and Blackburn staff.
The trip also included a visit to Sea Otter Classic in Monterey County. As well as Giro, Bell and Blackburn being represented at the festival, many other Zyro brands were also present, including CamelBak, Panaracer, ABUS and Magura.
“It was great for these retailers to have the opportunity to see where the brands originate from and to be able to understand just how much time and effort is spent on designing and testing all the new products they bring to the market,” said Andy Budd, Zyro sales director.
“It was a fun few days and to be able to offer retailers this opportunity is fantastic, we hope that it was both enjoyable and educational for everyone involved!”
