Streamlined design and washproof jersey bottle in the works

Camelbak developing (new) jersey bottle

The Camelbak Racebak, a jersey with built in water pack, is currently in testing stages, according to The Outside Blog.

The 72 ounce hydration pouch is sewn into the rear of the jersey.

The Outside Blog says: "The key material here is a proprietary compression (and supposedly chafe-free) fabric that’s designed to stabilize the water and conform to your back."

The product will apparently be available as soon as October 15th in the US, however no date for Uk launch has been confirmed.

It is believed that product testing was carried out through the Tour de France.

Camelbak is not new to roadie hydration: Bobby Julich used an AeroPak under his jersey in the early 1990s.
