Canyon introduces the Ultimate CF EVO

Canyon has announced the release of the new Ultimate CF EVO.

The bike features a 665g frame with 270g forks that don’t compromise on the stiffness, comfort and durability that brought the Ultimate to the Grand Tour podiums.

The frame is comprised of ultra-high modulus pitch-based fibres that supposedly required special permission from the Japanese Ministry of Defence to access.

These fibres enable the Ultimate CF EVO to deliver precise levels of stiffness and responsiveness, even at such a low weight point.

Canyon is offering two factory builds; the Ultimate CF EVO 10.0 SL and he Ultimate CF EVO 10.0 LTD. The bike is also offered as a full frameset including H36 Aerocockpit CF and S15 VCLS 2.0 seatpost, giving riders a blank canvas on which to build a fully custom lightweight ride.

The complete bikes ship with either lightweight Meilenstein Obermayer tubulars including ceramic speed bearings or Clinchers, SRAM Red 22 or eTap shifters and THM Clavicula Sine Exceptione or Clavicula M3 RSM cranks.
