Vintage retro styles will be available in March

Cath Kidston sews up bike range deal with Kingston

Cath Kidston and Kingston Bicycles have teamed up for a new range of “Modern Vintage” ladies bikes and cycle accessories.

The move marks the all-conquering Cath Kidston brand’s first foray into the cycling world and first products will be available from March 16th.

Cath Kidston launched in 1993 combining British vintage with everyday, practical objects. The Cath Kidston X Kingston Bicycles collaboration applies the Clouds and Neon Spot print to Kingston’s traditional vintage-style lugged frame bicycle to create a colourful, modern cycling collection with a nod to nostalgia.

Kingston Bicycles’ Neal Holdsworth said: “We’re very excited and proud to have been chosen to partner with Cath Kidston. The timing is perfect to launch this range with a boom on traditional ladies bikes and leisure cycling.

"The Cath Kidston team were heavily involved with the product development process and we feel we have created well specified bikes with many features and benefits along with that special Cath Kidston look that is unique and very recognisable.”

Kingston Bicycles was established to promote classic styled bikes as more UK cities embraced cycling. Urban cycling itself moved more towards lifestyle friendly bikes and a stylish practical bicycle has fast become an accessory of modern living.

International distributors are being sought and Kingston Bicycles’ Neal Holdsworth will be at Taipei Cycle Show. More details via his email.
