Chain Reaction picks up Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 Award

Online retailer Chain Reaction Cycles picked up its award for reaching 58th place at the 15th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards last week, hosted by Sir Richard Branson at his home in Oxfordshire, England.

Creative director Lola O’Hare and head of strategic management Maurice Donaldson joined the owners and directors of the private companies with the fastest-growing sales to celebrate.

The event began with an afternoon conference where over 300 guests heard from a range of speakers, followed by an awards dinner and after-dinner charity auction.

Around a fifth of the firms in the table were involved in healthcare or encouraging people to live healthier lifestyles.

“It was a privilege to attend the Virgin Fast Track 100 awards, and we were glad to see so many companies that promote a positive, healthy way of life feature," said O’Hare.

"Cycling is slowly but surely entering the mainstream public conscience, and with the arrival of the Olympics in just over two months, as well as other high-level media coverage, the popularity of the sport can only increase.”

The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 has been published annually since 1997.
