Brand's Eurobike stand sold to German punk rock journalist

Charge Arms sold for 250 Euros!

Charge Bikes’ stand, The Charge Arms, has been sold for 250 Euros to a German Journalist/punk rock band member.

The buyer, Frank Weckert (editor of mtbrider.de) now plans to use the faux pub as an entrance to a warehouse, which he plans to convert into a nightclub.

Hot Wheels MD, Russell Merry told BikeBiz: "We wanted to sell it because we just managed to pack it into a Luton van, but we were scared about re-packing it. It’s like a new bike, the Taiwanese manage to get it perfectly into the box, but try repacking it after its been built, is almost impossible!"

Charge Bikes MD, Nick Larsen, added: "It was so nice not having to pack it up over there and unpack it here!"

The Charge Arms was also the venue for the Surface clothing brand launch, which is detailed here.
