Eurobike unveiling at the Charge Arms stand (FGA8/2)

Charge to launch Surface clothing brand

Along with the launch of lots of shiny new bikes, Charge is to launch a clothing brand, dubbed Surface, at Eurobike.

Nick Larsen of Charge told BikeBiz: "Clothing has been on my mind for years, but how to get it manufactured and to market has been a long process.

"We’ve been working on this for a long while, (with the help of someone a lot more experienced in this area) and I think the time and effort has paid off. There’s trousers, shorts, jackets, windcheaters, base layers, tech hoodies and gloves first off, with more designs in the pipeline.

"Essentially, the clothing looks like normal casual wear, but performs on the bike. With a careful use of new material technology and creating and dyeing our own fabrics, I think we have come up with a strong line of unique products that will suit both casual cyclists and enthusiasts alike."

The full range of Surface clothing will be on show on the Charge Booth (the one that looks like a pub…) at Eurobike stand, located at FGA8/2.
