Bedfordshire-based distributor Chicken Cyclekit will be at this year’s Cycle Show at the NEC, running from Thursday September 27th (trade day) to 30th.
Chicken’s 2013 bike and frame programme comprises Italian racing bike brand Cinelli, pro racing Dedacciai bikes and Cinelli Bootleg. Tifosi – the company’s own tailored bike brand – specifically designed for ride to work cyclists and Sportiv riders. Bikes with catalogued specifications can generally be built within 24 to 48 hours, the firm said.
It added: "All Chicken brands comprise a broad portfolio of up-market components and accessories, mostly from the EU, many of which are fitted to the bikes on display. The latest Campagnolo EPS electronic 11 speed system – the Athena – makes its debut. Large stocks of Campagnolo are available. Up-to-date prices are on the chicken b2b website and a new complete, hard copy price list is
also available."
Beyond bikes, Chicken’s newer brands like the Gatorade G-Force Pro series of nutritional drinks and the WD-40 “3 in 1” series, specifically designed for bike workshop mechanics, will be showcased at Cycle Show.
Other key brands are Selle Italia saddles, KMC chains, SKS mudguards, Nalini clothing, LAS helmets, Jet Black bike trainers and mid-range Miche group sets. Campagnolo, Vittoria / Geax and EBC all have their own stands, close to Chicken Cycle-Kit.
As usual, there will be two 2013 catalogues: Chicken Cycle-Kit “The Perfect Bike” will be distributed to all dealers and inserted in subscription copies of Cycling Plus and Cycling Active. The full catalogue will be available later in the year.
