Visitors from six continents to arrive in Friedrichshafen in September

1,000 exhibitors already signed up for 20th Eurobike

The build up to the 20th edition of Eurobike has begun, with 1,000 exhibitors already signed up to the Friedrichshafen, Germany-set show.

Running from August 31st to September 3rd 2011, with the Demo Day on Tuesday August 30th, Eurobike 2011 will be themed around ‘Bike – Fit for Future’.

Last year’s show saw 1,100 exhibitors from 42 countries – 68 per cent of which were from outside German – but organiser Messe Friedrichshafen said growth wasn’t everything, adding that maintaining quality was a top priority for the show in 2011.

“Attendees at the trade show can see how the industry ticks,” said Eurobike project manager Stefan Reisinger.

“Eurobike is more than just a trade show. Along with the Demo Day, the Eurobike Award will once again highlight the most innovative products. The Eurobike Fashion Show, Bike Course, Travel Talk and Holiday on Bike are all among the exhibition’s highlights, and the island of Cyprus will present itself for the second time as a cycling destination. Eurobike 2011 will kick off under the theme “Bike – Fit for Future.”
