EUROBIKE 2010: Cycle trade and media descend on Argenbühl to test latest bike kit

109 exhibitors from 35 countries take part in Eurobike Demo Day

1,460 trade visitors and 577 media types took part in Eurobike’s fourth Demo Day this week.

Taking place in Argenbuhl, in the foothills of the German Alps, the Demo Day gave the industry chance to try out new kit from 109 exhibitors, hailing from 35 countries.

Heavy rain shortly before the event forced exhibitors to deal with flooded sections of the grounds. According to one trade source fire engines were used to pump water out of the fields, while wooden planks were laid out to improvise access for attendees.

Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann said: "Despite difficult weather conditions, the fourth edition of the event was highly appreciated by the exhibitors and visitors.

"Thanks to the fabulous support of our great team in Argenbuhl, the Demo Day was launched on time and as planned."
