After almost eight years in the role, Jonathon Harker is moving on

BikeBiz is looking for a new Editor

BikeBiz is looking for a new editor for the magazine and website www.BikeBiz.com.

Publisher NewBay Media is looking for an ambitious candidate with strong online experience and social media skills, versatility, a positive attitude, the ability to meet deadlines under pressure as well as vast reserves of diplomacy and organisation (more details here).

After almost eight years as editor, Jonathon Harker is moving on to another editor position in trade journalism, this time outside the cycle industry. Harker will remain as BikeBiz editor up until the end of May.

Harker said: "It’s been an exciting eight years or so at BikeBiz, where we’ve had a lot of highs including launching the live BikeBiz Awards back in 2009 and more recently like passing 100,000 unique users in February this year. It will be a wrench to leave but the time has come to take on a new challenge, which I will attack with relish!"

If you are currently a freelance journalist who is seeking the stability of a contracted Editorship or if you’re ready to move into a management role then please contact Lianne Davey, HR Manager, ukrecruitment@nbmedia.com.
