Saddle and bag manufacturer Brooks England is to unveil a new casual cycling clothing brand named PEdALED.
Brooks entered into a ‘capital tie-up’ agreement with Japanese manufacturer Hide &MC Inc, a manufacturer of cycling causal wear. The saddle brand made the move following the rising popularity of cycle lifestyle products.
Previously Hide &MC and PEdALED have been supplying the Japanese market, largely through bike and sportswear shops. The range incudes fashionable garb made mainly from natural materials with functional elements tailored to cyclists’ needs.
Hide &Mc and PEdALED is launching to the world’s cycle market at a number of trade shows – sportswear event Capsule in Paris and the large apparel exhibition ‘Bread and Butter’ in Berlin. The brand will be also appearing at Eurobike later this year.
Hideto Suzuki (pictured) is the founder and designer of the brand.
