Could former Monsoon boss take over at Halfords?

Former Monsoon Accessorize CEO John Browett has been widely tipped to be in line for the CEO vacancy at Halfords.

With Matt Davies having left the post to take the reigns at struggling Tesco, Browett, who left his post at Monsoon on Thursday, may be ideally suited to the role as a cycling enthusiast with the necessary experience.

Browett has in the past run Tesco’s online delivery business, which he followed with a spell as chief executive with Dixons and a short period with Apple.
