Chris Hughes has joined Cycling Sport Group UK (CSG UK) as PR and marketing coordinator.

Hughes will be responsible for looking after CSG’s relationship with the press and promoting the firm's large range of brands in the media, including Cannondale, Charge, GT, Mongoose, Surface, WeThePeople and Xposure.

Hughes has worked for many years in bike retail prior to joinging CSG.

He told Bike Biz: “I'm looking forward to promoting the Cycling Sports Group’s range of bikes and P&A brands in the press, especially getting stuck into our new Triathlon apparel brand Sugoi and Charge’s new range of 29er bikes.”

Cycling Sports Group UK joint MD Russell Merry added: “Chris has knowledge of the bike industry already through his years in bike retail. We hope to use and add to this experience to promote our products in the leading print and online media. This is an exciting time for us with new brands and products, and in Chris and the marketing team we have the right people to show what CSG has to offer.”
