Cube Bikes is showing its new range for 2010 and a brand new B2B trade site at this year’s Cycle Show.
Cube will appear on stand C13 at the show – which runs from Thursday October 8th to Sunday October 11th.
The 16-year-old German firm has told BikeBiz that it believes its 2010 bike line-up includes models with particular UK-appeal, including the new Stereo – a ‘truly capable UK trial centre bike’. The carbon Stereo is available in various specs as are Cube’s news GTC carbon ranges in both mountain and road. The firm is also showcasing clothing, children’s bikes, elite racing models and more at Earls Court later this week.
One of the new 2010 models set to appear at the show is the Reaction GTC. The bike has been constructed with carbon frames using the twin moulding system to eliminate wrinkles within the fibres and up strength and rigidity, while also reducing resin content – the heaviest part of the frame. Prices range from £1,499 to £1,999 for the Pro, Race and SL models. Cube said of the model: “We are confident the new Reaction GTC will deliver a precise and agile ride for all from the elite racer to the most conservative trail rider.”
Also on show is the lightweight hybrid bike with a sporting edge – Nature 2010. Featuring double butted superlite 6061 tubing and internal cable routing, the Nature is available in black and cocoa and priced at £769.
The Agree GTC is set to appear too. This carbon racing bike targets professionals and riders with an affinity for technology. Priced from £1,500 to £2,149 is various specs, the Agree shares some features with ‘big brother’ The Litening.
The Cube line-up is tested at its own innovation centre and also in the mountains near its headquarters in Germany near the Czech border. All Cube products meet the Din+ Certificate standard for optimum safety as well as dynamic performance, according to the firm.
Cube Bikes is an official partner to the BikeBiz Awards 2009, which begin at 7.30 pm with a free drinks reception in the arena area at Earls Court, while the awards presentation follows at 8 pm.
