Show director Andrew Brabazon said the move was in order to "significantly grow the exhibition."
He estimates an NEC show would attract 35,000 visitors.
“With huge support from the world's best brands and our features dramatically up scaled, we are really excited to be delivering a show the likes of which has never been seen in the UK,” promised Brabazon.
The move to the NEC is an example of the show flux for 2011. Future's BikeRadarLive has been cancelled (Future used to run an indoor show at Birmingham NEC, a show which started in London as Bike 95) and there are new shows, too. The London Bike Show takes place at Excel, Docklands, 13th-16th January 2011. The Scottish Bike Show takes places in Glasgow, 16th-17th April 2011.
The Cycle Show in Birmingham will be staged 29th September to 2nd October.
