David Jones, former head of product development at Wiggle, is to join Triton Imports to oversee brand management and in-house product development.
As well as his position at Wiggle, Jones’ previous roles include developing Charge Bikes with Nick Larsen and working for CSG UK/Hotwheels in numerous roles from sales and marketing to sourcing.
Triton Imports director Luke Edwards enthused over the appointment: "We are extremely pleased to have David on board as he brings a wealth of experience with 20+ years in the bicycle industry. He is going to be an undeniable asset in our expansion."
Jones added: “Being able to utilise my skills and experience to help drive Triton forward alongside Luke and the team is a great opportunity. It is extremely exciting to be able to work within a highly motivated company and have the freedom to shape it’s future.”
Triton Imports is exclusive UK distributor for both SE and Fairdale Bikes.
